                                Calling All Artists 

All artists must be over the age of 18 to compete for prizes. Each artist may enter one or two tiles. 

Pick up tiles and drop off directions for your 12x12 tile(s) are below. 

Your tile must be painted with Oil or Acrylic paint on a prepared porous surface. 

The tiles will be installed on homes in the center city neighborhood.  You can paint any subject matter you think will be appreciated by local residents. The Millville Development Corp. reserves the right to refuse any tile it deems inappropriate for family/public display. 

No nudity please.  No paper artwork or photos attached to the tile, we want you to work on the tile surface. 

You may embellish the tile if you want with beads, glass, clay, buttons, etc., but keep in mind you must have NO sharp edges that could scrape or scratch the public. Please keep embellishments less than a ½ inch protrusion from the tile face. 

Prize money totaling $750 will be judged and awarded in the following categories: 

Best of Show   $250 

1st Place   $175  

2nd Place   $125 

3rd Place   $100 

2 Honorable Mentions $  50 each 

Please pick up one (1) two (2) tiles per artist beginning Saturday, October 5, through October 19 between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m.   

Drop off tile(s) November 11 through November 15 between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m.  All pick up and drop off of tiles to the Riverfront Renaissance Center for the Arts (RRCA), 22 N High St, Millville. 

The Judging and a Reception will be held on Sunday, November 17, in the Riverfront Renaissance Center for the Arts, 22 N. High St. from 2 to 4:30 p.m.  Prizes will be awarded during the reception.  The public will be invited from 3 to 4:30 p.m. 

All artists are welcome to enter (no fee).  Members of the Millville Development Corporation’s board of directors may paint a tile(s) but are not eligible for prizes.
