Phillip has had a love of the arts since his childhood, spent with pencil in hand, trying to capture the world around him.
In highschool, he had his first formal exposure to art. He painted, sculpted, played music, discovered Rembrandt and found photography. In his senior year he had achieved a position as a bass player in the jazz ensemble and lead photographer for the school newspaper.
Phil attended Glassboro State College and acquired a degree in Music Theory and Composition, but never lost his love for Photography.
Still fascinated by nature and his surroundings and light, Phillip was drawn back to his true passion and has continued to seek knowledge and education as a practicing photographer with the professional Photographers of America. Phillip has been published in Inside Jersey Magazine with the NJ Ambassadors for Art of Glassmaking and is the staff photographer for Wheaton arts e-com and events.
Though Phillip has explored many styles of photography, his low-key portraiture and storytelling have been his focus.
