Linda was born in Pennsylvania but has lived most of her life in southern New Jersey. In 1985 she graduated from Kutztown University with a Bachelor of Fine Art Degree.
Primarily a watercolor painter, her earliest exposure to watercolor began in high school. In college, she did extensive study in charcoal, ceramics, weaving and non-fabric structure. After graduation she was employed briefly in the textile industry and later as a potter’s apprentice. By the summer of 1988 she was yearning to paint again and became reacquainted with watercolors through a weeklong workshop under the instruction of renowned Philadelphia watercolor artist, Howard Watson. She began painting on a daily basis and it became a full-time profession.
