There are a lot of fun events happening in the Glasstown Arts District before the holiday season.
Mark Oct 17 and Nov 21 on your calendars for the monthly Third Friday event from 6 to 9 pm or later! Art openings, gift shopping, artisan products, live entertain, and great food abound.
Join the Halloween fun on Oct. 31. Bogart's Books & Coffee will host an evening of live music, food and beverages, and a costume contest for prizes.
The Levoy Theatre is showing the "Rocky Horror Picture Show" at 8 pm and midnight. Come in costume and get a free "prop bag!" Tickets are $12.
On Nov. 2 the Riverfront Renaissance Center for the Arts is hosting "Apples & Art" from 2--5 p.m. $20 admission. Art demonstrations and join in the painting. Cooking demo, apples and cheese pairings, apple desserts! Many businesses offering samples of their specialties. Live music.
Nov. 13 we are sponsoring a special "Holiday ART BAR" at the Old Oar House Irish Pub. Instead of canvases, we will paint on glass platters, plates, etc. You can gift yourself or someone special (7-9 pm and reservations are a must!). Fee is $30 includes supplies, wine/beer or soft drink and an appetizer. Space goes quickly.
Nov. 14 join the monthly Wine Tasting at the Village on High. Wineries change monthly. Light refreshments offered. Chinese Auction and Live Music. Fee is $15.
Nov. 15 will offer a High Street Sidewalk Sale. Get some early bargains before the holiday rush! Artisans and crafters welcome to join the shops -- fee $10 for a space.
