Every week you can expect to see more of the beautiful art tiles installed on a variety of buildings in the Glasstown Arts District.
The organizing committee of the Millville Development Corporation plans on installing up to 12 tiles each week. It takes a bit of time to get the tiles to adhere to the various surfaces on the buildings, but once they do; they will last for many years to come!
65 artists painted 109 one-foot square ceramic tiles. You will see landscapes, florals, abstracts and fantasy tiles throughout High Street. Some buildings on Buck and 2nd Streets will also be included.
When the installation is complete, the MDC will put together a "walking tour" so that you won't miss seeing any of them.
This Public Art project is very unique and we are thrilled to have so many talented artists!
