The day many of us have been anticipating is quickly approaching! The Cumberland County College Arts & Innovation Center will open for the spring semester on January 23, 2017 at the corner of High and Vine Streets.
Jackie Sandro, long-time director at the Clay College will welcome students into the new state-of-the-art facility. Several classrooms and studios for ceramic art will be on the first floor along with two galleries curated by Ms. Sandro.
The second floor will be home to classes offering drawing/painting, art appreciation, graphic arts and more.
Having a quality art college in the middle of the Glasstown Arts District adds a great deal of prestige and energy into the mix of public and private galleries and artists' studios, the Levoy Theatre, restaurants and eateries, and unique shops featuring one-of-a-kind products.
